The Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Interior, National Police Bureau, invites applications from suitable candidates for merit-based temporary technical positions at the National Forensics Agency (NFA) Project. These positions are offered on a contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• For Senior Positions (BPS-17 and above):

  • M.Phil. or Master's degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Relevant experience ranging from 3 to 12 years, depending on the position.
  • Candidates with experience in federal or provincial forensic labs will be preferred.

• For Scientific Assistants (BPS-16):

  • Minimum BS/MSc in relevant disciplines.
  • Preference for candidates with forensic case experience.

• For Administrative Positions:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Public Administration, Accounts, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Relevant work experience in government or private sector organizations.

• For Support Staff:

• Minimum Intermediate or Matriculation.
• Valid driving licenses for driving-related positions.

Important Information

1. The contract period is until December 31, 2025; after this, the positions will be abolished.
2. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Security clearance will be required for selected candidates.
4. PhD holders will be given two years’ work experience exemption.
5. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per government rules.
6. Government employees must apply through proper channels.
7. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
8. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
9. No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview.
10. The department reserves the right to cancel any or all positions at any stage.
